SAVOTTA:

The big Kantamus is coming

08/08/2025By Max

You embraced the Kantamus 40L from SAVOTTA when it marched onto the scene last March. But you always knew… there had to be more. So, behold: The Kantamus 60L. The big brother of the Kantamus 40L, this 60-litre pack is built for serious hauling. Designed for demanding use, the Kantamus 60L is no-frills and all-function. The Official release will be on August 14th.

But there will be early access for Cult of Savotta members (aka Newsletter subscribers) on August 12th.

Made from rugged 1000D and 500D Cordura, it’s not the lightest pack out there, but if you’re counting on reliability over grams, this is the one to carry. The internal aluminium frame supports heavier loads, while the adjustable shoulder strap height ensures a proper fit for users between approx. 165–195 cm. Main bag capacity is approx. 60 litres, with an additional 12 litres in the floating lid.

Kantamus 60L is modular by design: the lid can be replaced with compatible packs like the Hatka 12L or Askare hip pack, and PALS webbing covers the sides, front, bottom, hip belt, and even the underside of the lid. Compression straps and the slightly bellowed open side pouches make it easy to lash on extra gear.

Repairable without sewing or special tools, buckles, lid, straps, and hip belt components can all be replaced if needed. Designed in Finland, made in Estonia, from 97% EU-sourced materials.
