Embark on an intense training experience at the Tactical Combat Academy in Slovakia. Learn to handle assault rifles and pistols in a week-long course.
We are going on a trip. And we just packed: Off to Slovakia to the TACTICAL COMBAT ACADEMY (TCA)! Tomorrow the TCA Tactical Week starts north of Bratislava, not far from the Austrian border. In one week, you will learn everything you need for handling assault rifles and pistols. We want to take you to this intensive course and introduce it to you.

The TCA generally offers a comprehensive course program. In addition to basics, this also includes special courses - even those with international instructors from Special Forces. To participate in these special courses, you should have already attended the basic courses for assault rifle and pistol at TCA. Therefore, a week that covers all the basic courses is very suitable for meeting all the criteria for the advanced trainings. It is also ideal that you can take everything in concentrated form with a trip to Slovakia and a week of vacation.
Since such a week is very exhausting, we are also booking a hotel in Stupava. The place is only 5 kilometers away from the TCA Range and therefore ideal for affordable accommodation. Here we treat ourselves to a 3-star hotel with an extensive breakfast buffet. In addition, there is a supermarket (Billa) in Stupava, as well as various restaurants to end the evening comfortably.

If you want to arrive with your own weapon, you should inquire about the valid gun laws beforehand and have a EU Firearms Pass. Currently, we only have a pistol, so we have no problem with the necessary document and both will be taken with us. Practical offer from TCA: we will rent the assault rifle on site.
The location of the course can be reached from Vienna in just over an hour by car. If you want to come from further away, you could also use Vienna-Schwechat Airport or Bratislava Airport. ATTENTION: There are currently special entry regulations for Slovakia, which are also checked at the border. It will be easiest for you if you are vaccinated.

In addition to the weapon, a lot of equipment is also packed. A suitable belt with magazine pouches, eye and ear protection, holster from BLACK TRIDENT, as well as a plate carrier for the assault rifle course. Since it gets very hot, we also have the option of using the Spiritus Micro Rig as a Chest Rig. We will take trousers and a shirt from UF PRO, as we have experience with them, they are comfortable and perfectly suitable.

Before departure, the weapon was cleaned and we are ready for the trip tomorrow morning. We are using a Glock 17 Gen 5 with HOLOSUN Elite HE508T-RD-X2 as a red dot on the slide - presented HERE in the SPARTANAT Review. Also, the Glock has been stippled by BLACK TRIDENT (Review HERE), which gives us a secure grip with sweaty hands.

Next week, we will publish a report on each day of the course and report on our experience with the training, the trainers, and TCA on site. See you tomorrow in Slovakia!
