Ohlala, France is the land of fashion. And because you can't just take what someone else has a license for, they decided to forego Multicam and instead of the previous forest and desert camo, they developed a new cross-environment camouflage: "Bariolage Multi-environnement" is the name of the new fabric. Basically, it's the French version of Multicam, but when translated, it simply means "multi-environment camouflage pattern."
The French are being clever: in the future, you will only need one uniform for the whole world instead of two. And if you mention "Multicam," they will tell you that there is a touch of "brun terre de France" (French earth brown) in the camo pattern - and patterns similar to those seen on French armored vehicles. Yes, we see that too. So, like the Slovenian SLOCAM, the new French camo definitely has nothing to do with American Multicam. Even though it may look like it. It will be introduced in 2024, along with the new field clothing, with an investment of 200 million euros in the new uniform.
