This is the guide issued by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on how a person should behave when experiencing a terrorist attack. We consider this to be very reasonable, so we are showing it to you. And these are the basic tips:

Leave the site of the attack as quickly as possible.

There may be a second explosion, gunfire, or a building collapse. Putting distance between yourself and the location of the attack also brings safety - but without panic.

Seek help as soon as possible for injuries.

The rescue team will try to arrive as quickly as possible. Those affected may overlook their own injuries, be in shock, or faint. First aid responders can see at a glance what they need to do and can help.

Do not touch any unknown objects.

Regardless of what is lying or standing around, do not touch anything. It may be another explosive device or one that has not detonated.

Follow the instructions of the emergency services.

Emergency services - police, military, fire department, rescue teams - will try to evacuate people from the danger zone and provide assistance. The emergency services should have an overview.

Avoid panic.

Panic leads to new dangers and can be as dangerous as the attack itself.

Do not run with the crowd.

Running with the crowd quickly leads to a loss of orientation. The risk of panic increases.

Be mindful and attentive.

Observing what is happening, being attentive, is also an essential part of self-protection. And you may also see something that is essential for the investigating authorities.
