Tactical Tip: First World EDC

In some forums, EDC (Every Day Carry) is a popular topic revolving around the best items to carry. In a safe European country, a mobile phone, keys, and wallet with money, IDs, and debit/credit cards are the most important items. While some may discuss carrying a pistol or knife, in this context, they are unnecessary. EDC is not a bad thing, but should always be considered in the appropriate context.

EDC (Every Day Carry) is very popular in some forums. Usually, discussions revolve around which pistol with how many magazines and which knife is best to carry. In our opinion, since we live in a safe, European, "first world" country: it's really just a mobile phone, keys, and a wallet with money, IDs, and debit/credit cards (the most important survival tool). A pistol, which we aren't allowed to carry anyway, or a knife, we haven't needed. In our opinion, EDC is not a bad thing, but one should always keep the context in mind.
