When you order the fanny pack, you'll get that. We were initially surprised by this because it deviates from how things are packaged in our plastic world. But yes, good paper is recyclable or rots. In that sense: best packaging.
The TACTICAL BEAR sticker also says that. We just curiously ripped open the paper packaging and off we go.
There it lies on the ground: the belly or hip bag has the dimensions 30 x 20 x 12 centimeters and the manufacturer's name is emblazoned on the front. It is made of PU-coated nylon. The pattern here is wonderful Swedish M90, there is also Black, Grey-Coyote, Coyote, and British Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP).
When turned over, we see the straps of the bag that go around the waist and the back, solidly padded with mesh for comfortable carrying.
The tactical bag has an interior, which is that: an organizer with multiple compartments and an elastic band so that stuff can be well organized inside.
On the back, there is Velcro. This is the mounting mechanism of the organizer. And a small flag that says everything was made in Europe. Good.
The Velcro of the insertable interior meets the loops on the inside back of the fanny bag. This means for you: it doesn't always have to be this organizer, you can fit anything in that you want to attach with Velcro. A drink bottle holder, an IFAK, a holster or magazine pouches, as you wish. A very flexible solution.
The compartment opposite on the front of the bag inside has mesh and of course looks after everything so that it doesn't get lost.
There is Velcro at the top and on the front with MOLLE cut in. Here patches fit, but you can also attach an additional bag and thus expand the volume with an extra compartment. If that's not enough, you can see here on the zipper pull that there is an outer compartment hidden under the MOLLE. There is also a lanyard in it, if you have something that likes to hang around.
If you use headphones with cables, you can also enjoy this passage.
A sturdy zipper closes the fanny bag. The large zipper pulls are practical and also beautifully crafted.
If you have a lot of volume, you might not always need everything. But then the bag would hang loosely and unattractively. Therefore, the side straps are ideal, with them the carrier can tighten the bag as filled.
Here worn on the back, you can already see how much the fanny bag protrudes. Its volume is its advantage.
The wide straps guarantee that you can comfortably carry the full bag. And the strap stuff is 160 cm long. There won't be that much belly, but you can also wear the fanny bag around the upper body.
This is how big the good piece is. With the decision for this TACTICAL BEAR Fanny Bag, the owner knows that he can do more outdoors: snack and water bottle, GPS, and stuff fit in perfectly, it can fully replace a small backpack. Or packed ready as a car EDC, it can hold essentials. And that's exactly the huge advantage of this fanny pack.
Here again the back with mesh. With the carrying handle, you have everything under control, even if the bag is not slung around the waist.
We'll give you just one example of how we use it, namely as a mobile garage for your small FPV drone. The organizer takes fantastic drone and its batteries.
And now we have a lot of space and there fits exactly the glasses for the FPV pilot and the controller for the drone inside.
Don't drink and fly - but to put it to the test: the bag also likes to carry at least five 0.5 containers in its mission. Probably even a sixth can of living food would have fit in. "Tactical Beer Fanny Bag" after all ...
Well, you can also be fun without alcohol. The BetaFPV Aquila drone is also a lot of fun and is always ready with accessories in this bag. So to speak, the hangar for the aspiring drone pilot.
CONCLUSION: Size matters, what a true word. The TACTICAL BEAR hip bag/fanny pack is a space wonder and really ideal for those who want more than just an EDC belly bag in the usual size. Moreover, it is superbly processed and ideally structured. Fine for outdoor use, with us it often replaces the backpack on smaller trips.
The TACTICAL BEAR hip bag/fanny pack is available directly from the manufacturer for 109 euros.
