The text discusses the importance of vertical tactics in mountain troops and specialized forces, focusing on the unique stresses and challenges of vertical movement. The workshop aims to train participants in understanding and implementing specific training content in a practical environment.
Climbing and roping, as well as mountaineering/trail running and ski mountaineering, are especially essential stress fields for mountain troops, as well as for certain parts of specialized forces. Here we are mainly talking about the approach. Only after that does the main part of the operation begin in practice and in emergencies. How can forces retain valuable resources for their actions and loads? Does vertical work differ from horizontal work?
Definitely yes. In the motor and athletic system, highly different muscle chains and abilities are addressed. Movement on the flat ground is familiar to the human system—however, stresses on inclines up to vertical or even overhang must be learned, practiced, and developed. This is precisely where "VTA - Vertical Tactics Athletic" comes in.
Workshop leader is Dipl.-Sportwissenschafter Bernd Bachfischer, who has been working with national and international athletes in the field of sport climbing and ski mountaineering for the past ten years. He has also been working with police authorities and the military for more than six years. Bernd makes the obvious, as well as the hidden stresses of vertical movement understandable and visible. Therefore, participants can make clear demands and ideas for specific training content. The implementation takes place in the classic training room. Athletic training is therefore not necessarily linked to fancy equipment, but to an understanding of specific stresses. The workshop "VTA - Vertical Tactics Athletic" trains the eye for tasks and the creativity for their implementation in a easily manageable environment for corresponding forces.
