On January 9, 2017 at 6:00 pm c.t. (please be punctual, room will be announced later), two employees of the BND will provide an exciting insight into their work at the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich:
“Bundesnachrichtendienst - Germany's foreign intelligence service: Provider of information for the federal government”
Mr. Michael Willkomm has been an employee of the Bundesnachrichtendienst for over 25 years. For twenty years, he was involved in operational missions for the “procurement of information that is of foreign and security policy importance for the Federal Republic of Germany” (§ 1 of the BNDG). He spent almost ten years abroad and also led various intelligence operations. His lecture provides fundamental insights into the mission and working methods of the German foreign intelligence service. The Huffington Post knows exactly - quite fittingly to our cover image: the James Bonds at Madame Tussauds Berlin - what you need to be able to do.
Philipp Weilhardt is a lawyer and has been an employee of the Bundesnachrichtendienst for over five years. In his previous positions and current role, he has been entrusted with handling legal issues from a variety of areas. His explanations provide an overview of the legal application practice at the Bundesnachrichtendienst.
The title of the event is “Career opportunities at the BND”. You have a chance. Take it. (We would be there immediately!). HERE is the event on the LMU Munich website. HERE you can get more information on FB (Small tip: if you are really interested, do not like the event and do not indicate that you are coming).
If you are unable to attend: HERE is the career page directly at the BND - Inquiries: [email protected]
