The Austrian Armed Forces are looking for you to join the Reaktionsmiliz. This force is deployed when the regular units of the Armed Forces need to be reinforced and there is a foreseeable longer-term threat and danger situation for Austria.

Deployed within 72 hours
The soldiers of the Reaktionsmiliz are ready within 72 hours to assist Austria in critical situations. In addition to the usual allowances for exercises, members receive a recognition bonus of € 6,000 per year.

The Reaktionsmiliz is currently based in the garrisons of Horn, Amstetten, and Spittal/Drau. Some positions are still available, with no age limit for entry.
