Steyr Mannlicher is taking new paths with the SSG M1 2018. It is a modular system that allows for switching between .308win (7.62x51) and .338LM. Interestingly, the grip (which strongly resembles CAA) and the safety have been adapted to the AR system.
The forend is equipped with Keymod slots, M-Lok does not seem to be currently available. With a list price of over EUR 11,000, it is significantly more expensive than the SSG 08 A1, however, the modularity of the SSG M1 should more than make up for this difference.
