STEYR SSG M1A2 goes USA

With a major contract for precision rifles, STEYR ARMS has achieved great success in the US market. At the SHOT SHOW, the Steyr SSG M1A2 received a lot of enthusiasm. The US market leader for precision rifle systems, Mile High Shooting Accessories (MHSA), has signed an exclusive contract for the US distribution of the new Steyr SSG M1A2. In the first year, STEYR ARMS USA expects an additional revenue volume of two million US dollars. The delivery of the brand new SSG M1A2 will begin in 2026.

The Steyr SSG M1A2 celebrated its world premiere at the SHOT SHOW. The M1A2 variant developed by Austrian technicians in Kleinraming offers improved ergonomics, modernized features, and refinements tailored to the needs of professional and competition-oriented precision shooters. At the same time, the reliability and performance of the original design have been maintained.
