Steyr AUG goes AK

At first glance, both the experienced and professional StG77 or Steyr AUG shooter is puzzled: there is something wrong with this magazine in the picture. It is too big and curved. It looks like an AK magazine. And somehow it is: Steyr Mannlicher has discreetly placed their latest product from the AUG line at their booth at IWA 2016, an AUG designed for 7.62 x 39. Hence the new, transparent magazine in AUG style with AK form. Kalashnikov magazines themselves do not fit. The 7.62 gun will be available as a professional automatic and as a civilian Z semi-automatic. More punch for a proven weapon, we think.
