Combat pants for military, police, and BOS services must be extremely robust, provide freedom of movement, be modular in design, and ensure protection. They differ significantly from classic civilian outdoor or workwear. The sportswear company SCHÖFFEL has expanded its range to include tactical clothing from the brand SCHÖFFEL TEC, addressing the wishes and needs of professional users. The ST-M Combat Pant AR is designed with an ergonomic cut. This means that the cut is specifically tailored to human anatomy and natural movement patterns. The pants feature pre-shaped knee and rear areas. The goal is to maximize wearing comfort and reduce physical strain through an optimal fit. It has been intentionally cut to be close-fitting and movement-oriented, lying neither too tight nor too loose, making it very comfortable.

The outer material of these pants is a technical composite fabric made of 35% polyester, 35% cotton, and 30% modacrylic. This material composition makes the pants lightweight and breathable while also being extremely durable and elastic. The main material is windproof, highly breathable, and dries quickly. The weaving technique used here by SCHÖFFEL TEC is ripstop, which makes textiles particularly tear-resistant and durable.

The highly abrasion-resistant reinforcements at the knees and inner leg areas are composed of 40% modacrylic, 28% polyamide, 17% cotton, and 15% aramid. The abrasion-resistant material at the knees of combat and work pants protects the underlying fabric and joints from wear, mechanical injuries, and moisture. This significantly extends the lifespan of the pants.

The stretch inserts made of 94% polyamide and 6% elastane in the front of the pants, at the knees, in the crotch area, and at the upper rear ensure that even quick movements, deep stances, and dynamic tactical maneuvers do not restrict freedom of movement.

The ST-M Combat Pant AR is equipped with an integrated belt strap that allows for individual adjustment of the width.

The silicone strips in the pants serve as an anti-slip system (silicone gripper). There is one such strip in the back area that is intended to prevent the combat shirt or field blouse from slipping.

Inside, there are three loops intended for suspenders.

The pants feature padding in the raised rear waistband in the lumbar region. This makes them comfortable to wear even with a belt or while carrying backpacks, without pressing.

The ST-M Combat Pant AR is equipped with a high-quality and robust YKK zipper, two snap buttons, and a Canadian slotted button for closure.

The five wide belt loops are adjustable in length and can accommodate even very heavy and wide tactical belts.

In the lumbar area, there are two soft Velcro surfaces that allow tactical belts with hook-and-loop fasteners to be secured.

The generously sized front pockets allow easy access to their contents and are therefore a practical and useful addition. The wide cut allows for easy access while wearing gloves.

Between the front pocket and the thigh pocket is an additional pocket that can be closed with Velcro. It is large enough to hold a mobile phone, an M4 magazine, a knife, a tool, etc.

The thigh pocket is secured at the top with two Canadian slotted buttons. Additionally, it offers side access through a zipper, making it ideal for accessing the contents of the pocket while sitting.

The pleated pocket provides ample storage space due to a deep fold in the middle of the pocket and a surrounding pleated section. An elastic band ensures that the contents stay in the pocket and adapts to the volume as well.

Furthermore, the storage space can be expanded as there is a zipper located on the back.

To ensure that the pocket is well-ventilated and moisture can drain, VENTBREAK has been integrated into the thigh pocket at the bottom.

Each thigh pocket features a holder for a dump pouch. SCHÖFFEL TEC provides a dump pouch with the ST-M Combat Pant M. In it, important items for survival, medical needs, fire starters, and identification can be carried without the risk of losing them.

Equipment is securely held by four-centimeter wide rubber bands. A wide rubber loop provides enough space to hold a rifle magazine, a radio, a mobile phone, etc. One section of the Velcro area is designed like a pocket, distinguished by its special shape and functionality. The Velcro areas for the modular pockets allow for optimal storage of equipment. The holes in the Velcro area also allow for fastening equipment with paracord or bungee cord, which is particularly practical.

The ventilation is ensured by the VENTBREAK fabric on the back of the thigh pocket, which is equipped with a two-way zipper.

Behind the knees, there are Velcro closures for external knee pads to prevent them from slipping during movement.

It also features special internal compartments for compatible knee pad inserts. SCHÖFFEL TEC has not developed its own knee pads, meaning they do not manufacture them themselves and thus do not offer them in their range. However, most knee pads from other manufacturers fit.

A rubber band integrated on the back of the knee allows for the adjustment of the pant leg and ensures a snug fit of the knee protectors.

A calf pocket with a side opening is perfect for items that need to be accessed quickly while squatting or sitting.

At the end of the pant leg on the lower leg, there is an adjustment option. The VENTBREAK fabric attached to the back of the lower leg is equipped with a two-way zipper and serves for ventilation.

The adjustable closures with silicone strips on the inner gaiter of the ST-M Combat Pant AR ensure that the pants fit snugly around the boots, keeping dirt and insects away.
