The first Midnight Brutality event in America featured four classes testing equipment in total darkness. Different classes catered to various levels of night vision capability. Exciting videos from the event are available on YouTube.
Recently, the first Midnight Brutality took place in America. In total darkness, there were four classes offering the opportunity to participate in a Brutality 2 Gun Action Challenge Match, to test oneself and equipment in a very special setting. The 4 classes were as follows:
Light Fighter - For those who only have white light available and no night vision capability.
Infantry - For night vision with laser and weapon lights, whether IR or white.
Night Fighter - Night vision, but IR laser or weapon lights are not allowed. Instead, optics that are night vision compatible are used. (EOTech)
Hunter - For thermal devices. Night vision, laser, and weapon lights were not allowed.
Here Ian explains it more precisely:
What does such a match look like? This was filmed with a Sionyx device by Karl Kasadra. You can find the video linked below:
You can find another video HERE at Utreon by Kit Badger.
It's very exciting to see such matches and hopefully there will be more of them soon, preferably in Europe.
