USSOCOM selected the SIG MOD-X9 9mm suppressor for the Mk27 pistol, known as the GLOCK 19 Gen4 MOS. The user-configurable suppressor features 3D-printed titanium chambers, adjustable length and weight, offering a sound reduction of up to 127.4dB.
In the past fall, USSOCOM selected the SIG MOD-X9 9mm suppressor for the Mk27 pistol. The Mk27 is better known in the market as GLOCK 19 Gen4 MOS.

The user-configurable MOD-X9 suppressor is made up of seven 3D-printed titanium chambers. The length and weight are adjustable from 3.25 inches (8.26 cm) to 7.5 inches (19.05 cm), and ~140 g to ~230 g. This results in a sound reduction of up to a nearly quiet 127.4dB.

Due to the nature of procurement in special forces, traditional steps are not necessarily followed, so unfortunately there has been no public announcement of the purchase. However, the first batch of suppressors for the Mk27 pistol is expected to arrive this summer.
