The Eckernförder gun manufacturer SIG SAUER wins the Golden Bullseye Awards in the categories "Handgun of the year," "Ammunition Product of the year," and "Optic of the year." The products P365, the accompanying ammunition produced by SIG SAUER, and the BDX scope/rangefinder combo were awarded. The influential National Rifle Association (NRA) presents these awards annually in the USA.
The awards are subject to several conditions: among other things, the awarded products must already be available, be considered innovative, and provide customers with a real added value compared to competing products. Furthermore, the awards are exclusively presented by NRA magazines.
The magazine Shooting Illustrated honored the micro-compact P365 as "Handgun of the year." The P365 from SIG SAUER is a micro-compact hammer-fired pistol made of lightweight polymer. Due to its very small dimensions, low weight, and high magazine capacity of either 10+1 or 12+1 rounds, it is ideally suited as a backup weapon for hunting. Where and by whom permitted, the P365 is also the perfect pistol for concealed carry.

In the category "Ammunition Product of the year," the magazine American Rifleman was won by the SIG Elite 365 Ammunition. The ammunition developed by SIG SAUER is specially designed for shots fired from very short barrels. It guarantees highest precision even from short barrels and complete combustion of the propellant.
The SIG Elite365 ammunition includes both full metal jacket bullets and hollow point bullets. The introduction of SIG SAUER ammunition in Europe is still pending.

The NRA publication American Hunter was impressed by the performance and innovation of the BDX and awarded it "Optic of the year." The advanced optics package BDX (Ballistic Data Xchange) represents a revolutionary interplay between scope and rangefinder. An automatically corrected reticle point ensures precise shots at any distance in any terrain. This eliminates the need for estimating range and holdover.
