SHOT SHOW 2020: Gerber's giant Balisong

At the SHOT SHOW, Gerber presented their new folding knife Doubledown this year. At first glance, it looks like a normal balisong, better known as a butterfly knife. The blade is hidden in the handles and both need to be folded away to release the blade. So far so good. Now, the word "machete" in the product description caught our attention.

Now we know this thing is huge, as you can see in this video. The blade is a good 17 cm long. So, it's no longer just a knife, but more of a tool. In principle, due to the "4 lock system", it's not a one-handed knife. A bit too big for EDC, but why not.
