At this year's Shot Show, Crye Precision of course also presents what they have come up with. The clothing trend seems to be oriented towards global warming, as Crye mainly introduces their new Hot Weather collection.
The G4 Hot Weather clothing consists of a field shirt and field pants. The materials used are a combination of Polartec Power Dry Mesh Jersey with X-static antimicrobial fibers, along with two different Apocalypse fabrics. The stronger version with higher weight is used for the high-stress areas of the Field Pant and Apocalypse and VTX Ripstop on the high-stress areas of the Combat Pant. The Field Pant features a gaiter at the lower hem.
Yes, you read that right. Of course, there will also be a Combat version of the G4 Hot Weather clothing. This set consists of a combat shirt and combat pants. What stands out is the use of buttons instead of velcro. In the jungle and other tropical climates, velcro simply hasn't proven itself. Although exposed buttons in the jungle are the trick? We'll see.
Not new, but at least new colors. The Crye G4 Uniform - HERE in our review - will be available in two new color tones, namely TAN and Ranger Green. Not groundbreaking, but it brings more color to the bleak everyday life.
Last year it was already introduced, the LRB Belt, with the LRB Leg Loops the harness by Crye. This set forms a climbing harness certified to EN-12277.
The ASR Lanyard is also not new, but now certified to 13.5 kN static breaking load. Crye Precision is available in Germany at TACWRK.
