There are some companies where you want to have everything. Unity Tactical is one of those. Lots of clever, intelligent products that can help you at work. We checked out their stuff at their booth at the SHOT SHOW. Above we see the FAST™ Micro Mount and behind it the FAST™ FTC Aimpoint Mag Mount.
When shooting with a red dot magnifier, it looks classic from behind. And when the target changes, it flips to the side.
With the FAST™ FTC Aimpoint Mag Mount it's solved in a very interesting way. And it feels extremely logical: the magnifier is folded down, now very close to the gun and not disturbingly swung out. One reason for this possibility is the FAST™ Micro Mount, which is slightly higher than other mounts for red dots.
Another bonus is that the shooter no longer has a BUIS on the back, because the rear part of the emergency sight is integrated into the FAST™ Micro Mount.
The FAST™ FTC Aimpoint Mag Mount also works behind an EOTech.
The EOTech is mounted higher with a FAST™ Riser. Also very interesting, the rear back up iron sight is integrated sideways in the mount. In the front, there's a side-mounted front sight post (not shown in the picture).
The HOT button for light, laser, or a combination of both. Either momentary or constant. M-Lok compatible, small and light. Not listed on their website yet, but hopefully coming soon.
Under the category FUSION, there are various mounts by Unity Tactical, all revolving around the front part of the weapon, where laser boxes, weapon lights, front sights, and switches fight for space. You can check out the clever parts HERE.
Also new: a mount for a rifle scope with a side-mounted Aimpoint Micro as a backup sight for close distances. Not yet found on Unity Tactical's website.
And this is something completely different. There are several manufacturers offering fabric belts as hidden carry aids. None that we know of has elaborated it as beautifully as Unity Tactical. This is Kydex in action. You can check out the CLUTCH System here.
