S&S Precision is teasing a new product on their pixelated homepage with a countdown titled "The future of Plateframes." Could it be the leaked "Modular Plateframe" with carbon interior and Kydex frame? Speculation suggests Tier1 units like DEVGRU or DELTA have field-tested it. Visit their homepage for more info.
S&S Precision are making a big mystery. Pixelated homepage, countdown, title "The future of Plateframes." Eight more days starting today. All well and good, we like these things - HERE is the SPARTANAT review of the classic Plateframe.
By chance, we came across the photo above and we wonder if this could be leaking the new, probably to be announced "Modular Plateframe": a carbon interior, Kydex frame tensioned externally, shoulder area and cumberbund carefully crafted. "The thing weighs a total of 2.5 kilograms," says the poster and jokes, "But it costs more than my first car." The fact that it has already been used (or field tested with Tier1) is indicated by the SR25 with a pre-mounted night vision device. We would bet on DEVGRU or rather DELTA who got to play around with it. We are curious. HERE is the homepage for the new Plateframe.
