Go loud! That's not always pleasant in case of emergency. The active hearing protection brings a lot in line: the AMP is the latest version of Ops-Core. We were able to test it out at the Range Day by First Spear. If you have previously preferred other brands, you might still like the AMP. It starts with a button that is pressed. We were impressed by the performance of the microphones: we walked across the range, shots were fired, the man from Ops-Core snapped his fingers behind our back, and we could precisely tell where the sound came from.

On the underside, there is volume adjustment and an NSN for procurement.

The set has several advantages. The radio microphone can be unscrewed and worn on the right or left side as needed. Or it can simply be removed altogether, then the wearer simply has an active hearing protector for shooting on the range without radio function.

The AMPs are available with bands for direct wearing on the head …

… or with special mounts for the Ops-Core helmet. Here, the rear, falling arm is used, which means that the top rail becomes free for more useful purposes. When the AMPs are not on the ears, the wearer can fold them to the back of the helmet. A very successful integration of hearing and head protection.

Do it with Style: Ops-Core is also in the business of making glasses. The MK1 Performance Protective Eyewear is of course protective eyewear, but also very stylish. The frame is made of metal, and the lenses are interchangeable. All of this benefits from Gentex's experience in making protective eyewear and acquiring Ops-Core some time ago.

On-site wear test: Fits well, comfortable, and looks good too.

Look stylish with Ops-Core helmets too. Here is a fully upgraded version. We see the Ops-Core Step-In Visor, protective eyewear that attaches directly to the helmet. Along with a Gunsight Mandible, this provides ideal facial protection.

Thick skulls sometimes get more out of life: The helmet is upgraded with Slaap Charge Plates for combat. This system here is two-part. The back of the head also gets additional armor.

When dangerous substances are in the air - from dust to powder smoke - a professional mouth guard is never a bad idea. The Ops-Core SOTR has two breathing valves in addition to the filter, making it easier. It also sounds impressive when you try to say "Luke, I am your father" with it.
