At the SHOT SHOW, Franklin Armory introduced a new rifle named Reformation with a unique NRS barrel that doesn't spin the bullet. This classification as a firearm saves on regulations. However, accuracy suffers, requiring specialized ammunition. Learn more in the linked video or visit Franklin Armory at booth 20432.
At the SHOT SHOW there are always surprises, and this one is presented by Franklin Armory. They have a new rifle called Reformation. This rifle is equipped with a NRS barrel. NRS stands for Not a Rifle nor Shotgun, because the barrel is not rifled. The grooves in the barrel run lengthwise, which means the bullet does not spin. Due to this unique feature, the weapon is not classified as a shotgun or rifle in America, but as a firearm. This saves you various regulations and taxes. The downside of this is that accuracy suffers significantly. To counteract this, they have also developed a special type of ammunition, which you can see above. For more information on this innovation, check out a short video that we have linked in the main image or also HERE.
