Announced before SHOT SHOW 2018, now landed: we take a first look at the new G4 set from Crye Precision. Just to clarify: G4 does not replace G3, it will still be available. G4 comes as FR and aims to further develop the Crye Uniform. Above are the tops. As always, Crye offers Combat Apparel (left) and Field Apparel (right).
Here are the pants to match, Combat Apparel (left) and Field Apparel (right). The first includes a combat shirt and knee pads, the second a field blouse and a "normal pants."
Crye is trying to become narrower. The pockets are no longer on top, but sewn in. You can recognize Crye by the small black bar logo.
The sleeve end. Everything gets finer, smaller, prettier.
Adjustable waistband. The material is VTX Ripstop material and stretches.
Thigh pocket area: Here too, it's getting underground. Upper pocket sunk into the pants, thigh pocket as well. In between, there is a raised strip that serves as a support.
Zipper of the small accessory pouch on the thigh, covered by a flap.
All the secrets are in the fine print.
The new Structural Plate Carrier (SPC) still looks to us like a lighter version of the plate carrier from Templars Gear. Great piece in any case. There were rumors at first that it would replace the JPC. That's not the case, the iconic JPC remains part of Crye's offerings. By the way, you can get Crye Precision in Germany at TACWRK.

The gear in use on the mannequin - our friend Eric from Soldier Systems took the picture. The carpet, by the way, is not from Crye.
