SHOT SHOW 17 - Steyr Mannlicher
Steyr USA presents a limited 40-year special edition of the futuristic Steyr AUG rifle at the Shot Show. The special edition includes a new commentator and bipod, as well as a flat rail replacing the foregrip. Also revealed is a bright orange Survival version, currently only a design study. Somehow the gun still looks so futuristic that one might think it's the future of rifles. We're talking about the Steyr AUG. On the occasion of the Shot Show, Steyr USA presents a limited 40-year special edition of the AUG (see logo below).

But that's not all. Also on display was a new commentator on an AUG, which reminds us of its origin to the LMG version HBAR. We don't know if this Comp will only be available in the USA or also in the home country. 
Also new is a bipod for the AUG. And our attentive eye immediately notices a new, flat rail that replaces the foregrip. 
Lastly, the "burner": the Survival version of the AUG. in bright orange, so it doesn't get lost in the forest. Pretty cool... and for now just a design study.
