SHOT 23: SOTech Delta Omega - Medical / Ordnance Pouch

SOTech presents several new products in the fields of medicine and tactics at this year's SHOT. The new Delta Omega Pouch, Cobra Harness, OrgBoard Line, the complete Cobra Pack Line, Micro Pack Line, laser-cut Slim Line Harness, M320 Holster and Ammunition Carrier System, as well as other exciting products, will be on display at booth 20059.

The Delta Omega Medical / Ordnance Pouch was developed from the requirements of Special Forces Medics and the Army Infantry Center (MCOE). The need for a bag that can hold the ribbed plastic magazines for the new NGWS-Rifle (XM-7) prompted the manufacturer to cut the bottom of the bag at a 45-degree angle and reinforce it with plastic to push the front magazine up and provide a better grip. The triangular shape at the bottom inspired the "Delta" in the name. The requirement of the 18Ds to accommodate multiple sizes of medical inserts, micro Orgboard trays, and a compression IFAK led to the development of an elastic belt pouch with a drawstring.

The bag features a unique (patent pending) cord arrangement that can form an elastic quick-release loop over the top, or the cords can be split and the tabs tucked into the side, allowing the laser-cut flap to expand and be used for added protection. The result is a pouch that can accommodate radios, IFAKs, medical inserts, grenades, smoke grenades, rifle magazines of various sizes (CSASS, M-4, M-7, etc.), and Tasers - hence the Omega of the bags.
