The LBT-1961M was modified by London Bridge Trading for Naval Special Warfare to accommodate SCAR H magazines and HK417 for SEAL snipers. Issued in 2011, it is most commonly found in Multicam, making the AOR1 version exclusive. Seen in Zero Dark Thirty, it adds authenticity to scenes featuring DEVGRU snipers.
Here you can see a LBT-1961M, the version for the HK417 in 7.62mm. Naval Special Warfare asked London Bridge Trading to modify the 1961 platform so that it works for both SCAR H magazines and HK417, which are used by SEAL snipers and marksmen.
The rigs were issued in the summer of 2011, with most of them in Multicam. So LBT-1961M in AOR1 seems to be the most exclusive rig in the 1961 series. This also makes the image plausible from the otherwise very authentic movie Zero Dark Thirty, which shows the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, where you can see a DEVGRU sniper with an HK417 securing the roof.
