Secure the LAW onto the drone.

Nammo is pleased to announce that the company is working on a drone-mounted M72 concept. Yes, they have attached an M72 LAW to a drone. The M72 is a light anti-tank weapon with a caliber of 66 mm, effective against a variety of targets such as armored vehicles, personnel, lightly fortified structures, or similar.

The M72 is qualified and used by a variety of armed forces in multiple (mostly NATO) countries, offering a good combination of low weight and high firepower. In a typical scenario, it is fired from the shoulder of the shooter.

While most variants have a maximum effective range of about 350 meters, the new drone concept opens up several new possibilities for versatile use and significantly longer ranges.

Especially the fact that the LAW is fired from above onto the target brings some very exciting tactical aspects. The effect on the target is definitely there. We are curious to see how this concept will further develop.
