RUSSLAND: Kalashnikov delivers uniforms

Russia needs new equipment, and the Kalashnikov Concern is stepping up: Triada-TKO LLC has started delivering a new all-weather field uniform kit (VKPO 3.0), which is essentially the continuation of the recently introduced Ratnik system. The first delivery included several tens of thousands of summer and windproof sets of suits and hats.

VKPO 3.0 is a unified set developed by Triada-TKO along with specialists from the clothing department of the resource support department of the RF Ministry of Defense.

The VKPO 3.0 pattern from 2022 includes: thermal fleece underwear (sweatshirt, underpants) TU 858-6669-2022, fleece jacket TU 858-6665-2022, half-year suit (jacket, pants) TU 858-6666-2022, waterproof suit (jacket, pants) TU 858-6667-2022, insulated suit (jacket, pants) TU 858-6664-2022, summer suit (jacket, pants, insert shirt) TU 858-6668-2022, summer cap TU 858-6662- 2022, transitional cap (insulated) TU 858-6661-2022, winter scarf TU 858-6663-2022.

The new generation of VKPO has improved ergonomic properties and is made from materials with improved characteristics. The set is produced in a new color - apparently no longer classic digital flora, but a multicam. Presumably, this is also a color adaptation for the Ukrainian theater of operations.
