Russias new RPL-7 MG

Light machine guns are currently in vogue, accompanying special forces and light infantry in attacks and providing firepower on the move. The RPL-7 7.62mm light belt-fed machine gun (LMG) is designed to engage manpower, weapon systems and soft-skin vehicles at ranges of up to 800 m. The LMG fires 7.62x39 ammunition. 

Owing to its design features and detachable rails, the RPL-7 can be fitted with various sights and gun accessories. The LMG is fully ambidextrous. The machine gun can be complemented with a sound suppressor, tactical gun sling, bipod and front grip.
