Exchange of rings: Czech Republic receives Leopard 2A4

Rheinmetall will deliver battle tanks and other military equipment to the Czech Republic as part of the German government's tank exchange program. This was recently contractually agreed in Prague between representatives of both countries and Rheinmetall.

The Czech armed forces will receive battle tanks of the Leopard 2A4 type and recovery tanks of the Büffel type. In return, the Czech military will supply arms to Ukraine. The order includes ammunition as well as a service package, which includes training and spare parts. The first vehicle is set to be delivered in December 2022, with delivery expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
