Rheinmetall Mission Master CXT - in the fight against drones

07/07/2023By Redaktion

RHEINMETALL presents the Mission Master CXT - Fire Support, equipped with two Dillon M134D Miniguns. It's surprising they didn't just call it "Terminator": the armed ground drone was specifically developed as a reliable countermeasure for combating small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). It can fire an impressive 6,000 rounds per minute and engage drone targets day and night.

The system is capable of autonomously detecting and tracking air and ground targets while simultaneously giving the operator (Man in/on the Loop) priority for safe fire engagement. Additionally, the system is "wolfpack-capable," meaning an operator can control multiple unmanned ground vehicles at the same time. RHEINMETALL will present its Counter-UAS solution for the first time at DSEI in September 2023. More information about the Mission Master UGV System directly from RHEINMETALL CANADA.
