On their way to the first major milestone - the highest-altitude refuge in the world at 6,100 meters - the path is not easy. Rocks and ice block the way and must be cleared by manpower. Constantly exposed to icy temperatures of minus 25 degrees and strong sandy winds. And the Rheinmetall truck keeps on driving... Inclines of 100% on sandy, rocky, and icy terrain must be conquered.
