REVIEW: WNDSN Night Ops MMC

If you don't want to just estimate distances, you have to calculate them. If you have a reticle with MIL or MOA markings available, it's quite simple. The WNDSN Mil/MOA Range Calculator (MMC) will help you enormously with that. Even better is the new Night Ops version, we'll tell you why.

We have already presented and explained the WNDSN Mil/MOA Range Calculator to you in detail HERE. In the image, the two lie side by side and look very similar except for the material. The laser-engraved scales are also identical and provide you with solid measurement results. The only difference is really the material used.

Transparent acrylic was used here. Placed on a dark surface, the scales can be read very well.

But even when held against the sky, the scale is perfectly readable. With the black predecessor, there were sometimes problems under certain lighting conditions, as the surface was heavily mirrored.

The really big advantage of the WNDSN Night Ops MMC comes in combination with a 38 mm glow stick. These are often used for fishing, in case you need a refill. Just bend the glow stick and clamp it into the slot provided.

Now your WNDSN Night Ops MMC shines and is perfectly readable in the dark. The classic Mil/MOA Range Calculator is unfortunately only black.

WNDSN Night Ops MMC also works very well with the smaller 25mm glow sticks. But you need a small adapter or tape to secure the tiny glow stick in the slot.
