REVIEW: WI OUTDOOR Travellers Belt

The core function of a belt is to hold your pants up. If it can do more, even better. The Travellers Belt from WI OUTDOOR is one that can do more.

It can hold your pants up and travel... at least. The Travellers Belt is made from 45mm wide webbing that can withstand a lot on its own. Here shown in extremely stylish Multicam Black.

To prevent the buckle from being the weak point, the Travellers Belt features an Austri Alpin Cobra Buckle. Some may think it's overkill, but it's definitely functional. It also guarantees that you'll have to take off the belt at the airport due to the metal buckle, but who still travels by plane these days?

Halfway through, the webbing is double stitched for good stability. Whether it's pockets or even a holster, the belt keeps everything in place.

Thanks to this construction, the Travellers Belt offers a small loop at the front where a carabiner can be hooked in perfectly. However, it's not intended for safety purposes, as the belt is not certified as personal protective equipment. So no rappelling with it!

This loop is simply intended as an anchor point, for example to hang a dog leash on. Now you have your hands free and the wild beast (anonymized) can tug at the belt as much as it wants, it will hold.
