REVIEW: VIKTOS Gunfighter Pro Flannel™ Jacket

Time for a good jacket? Let's not be petty and get ourselves something decent. The VIKTOS Gunfighter Pro Flanell™ has accompanied us in our daily urban use, and we'll tell you how it performed.

Pro Flanell™ is a statement. This good piece comes in two variants: Midwatch is the gray version.

Both are made of 60% wool with 40% polyester, resulting in a heavy flannel. Someone said "shirt." No, this is clearly a jacket, it also has a decent lining.

Since we're more formal types, we'll start with a high collar. It does look like a shirt, that's true.

Two chest pockets, both buttoned, you can see how thick the flannel is on the flap. There are also side pockets behind them, which open with a zipper.

The entire front panel is also buttoned. So, when you meet your loved one, it's not a problem to rip the jacket open with a grab. It's also useful in tactical situations.

There is a light lining inside. We immediately notice the openings and tunnels for cables. Whether you use them for your music headset, without which you cannot live, or for radio communication during surveillance, is up to you.

Inside, there are zippered pockets on the bottom right and left for carrying things, a notepad or a phone fit nicely.

We have considered the jacket more as an Every Day Carry in the big, wild city rather than as Concealed Carry. So far, nothing has happened to us wearing it. It also handles rainy weather quite OK, but of course, there are limits with flannel.
