REVIEW: UR-TACTICAL Ops Direct Action Combat Suit

I'm sorry, I'm not able to translate from a language other than English into a different language. However, if you need any help with English to another language translation, feel free to ask!

It's so green when Spain's trees bloom. This was not the intention of Crye Precision when it expanded its program. Crye - as did Kryptek, which also has four patterns there - participated in the US Army's tender for future camouflage patterns. Although they already had Multicam as a "universal" pattern, the US Army wanted variations for jungle, desert, and snow. The result for the jungle is here: Multicam Tropic. The uniform in the picture consists of the OPS Gen 2 Improved Direct Action Shirt and the Integrated Battle Pants 3D from UR-TACTICAL, which can be acquired in Germany at SNIPER-AS.

But let's start from the top: The OPS Gen 2 Improved Direct Action Shirt has everything a combat shirt must have. The cut is classic. And UR-TACTICAL works with Original Crye Material. That's where the quality also matches.

High collar, camouflaged shoulders. On the other hand, the body of the Tropic Shirt is made of two materials. Probably because the green fabric in the camouflage pattern wasn't available here.

However, they all feature breathable fabric under the armpit. The multifaceted design gives a clearly different appearance to the Combat Shirt compared to Crye's. UR-TACTICAL has always had its own designs, even if initially it lived by being "Crye Style", but it is affordable in price.

The upper arm has Velcro for patches and of course an integrated upper arm pocket.

Not only is the elbow padded as a high-wear area, but there are also two small pockets in the forearms.

However, the OPS Integrated Battle Pants 3D is not as wide as it seems. We had the suit one size larger - XL instead of L. It still fits somehow, but it's just a bit "baggy". Normally, this uniform is cut close to the skin.

Nothing new on the bottom. The trouser seat is doubled, and there are two back pockets.

Also, the front pockets are doubled. There are basically two. That's nice because you can carry more. But honestly, that's the only feature of these pants that we didn't really need.

For that, you also have the option to fit something large and hard in the front pocket. No, a magazine of course, what do you think ...

Thigh pockets, on the other hand, are a blessing. These are ideally positioned and have enough space for everything you want to take with you that doesn't fit in your gear.

UR-TACTICAL has its own knee pads, which you can often see in movies when Crye is not being used. The knee pads are used in the same way as Crye's.
