Who the fck is MARK? MARK is, as expected, an abbreviation and stands for Modular Attach Rail Kit. This mounting system for the Team Wendy helmet was developed by Unity Tactical. But what does MARK do? It allows you to mount your hearing protection directly on the helmet - and in a very small, compact way. This leaves you plenty of room for other accessories on the helmet rail. We took a close look at MARK in detail.
The scope of delivery is limited to the essentials, MARK himself, two Allen wrenches, and the instructions. So let's get started with the assembly. You can follow along with our video.
You have to source the Comtacs capsule holders yourself, but since you should already have one, you can just use the holders from that. You probably won't need them on the headband anymore.
Attaching the MARKs to the Team Wendy is simple and relatively quick. In about seven to 10 minutes, they should be attached and adjusted on the helmet. In the picture, you can see the original Team Wendy helmet adapters. The size difference is quite clear.
The clips are made of spring steel and have a very good pressure against the head. This ensures a perfect seal for the hearing protection without causing headaches.
Here's another picture of MARK on our Team Wendy EXFIL LTP Helmet in all its glory. Thanks to MARK's small size, the light also fits without losing space.
CONCLUSION: For those who like to wear their earmuff hearing protection on the helmet, MARK is definitely an alternative worth considering compared to the previous adapters. MARK makes a very good impression, especially because of its compactness.
Available at ACT in BLACK for the EXFIL Rail from Team Wendy and other helmet rails for 76.05 Euros
