REVIEW: UF-PRO Striker Stealth Smock Pouches

They look great on the Striker Stealth Smock - HERE is the review, the two pouches specially designed by UF-PRO for it. Specifically named "Stealth Front Pouch" and "Stealth Side Pouch." Not much room for discussion about their purpose. However, we want to take a closer look at these two additions to the Stealth Smock:The back of both - left: Front Pouch, right: Side Pouch - shows what you would expect: a MOLLE-compatible attachment system. One with 4 columns and the other with 3 columns wide, ensuring everything stays securely in place under load.Now, a few details about the Front Pouch. The pouch is made of 500D Cordura in the bottom part and RipStop NYCO or the same material as the color-matching UF-PRO Stealth Smock in the upper part.The most interesting feature of the Front Pouch is the closure. Normally, you put the button through the buttonhole, but here it's the opposite. The button goes through the buttonhole, which in this case is an adjustable round rubber loop. This - initially strange-looking - system works very well and is completely silent.Inside the pouch, there is a divider with a zipper, a D-ring, and two rubber loops. All very functional and well thought out. The divider allows the pouch to be "low profile," but it can also be opened to accommodate larger volumes.The Front Pouch can hold up to 4 standard magazines - whether AR or AK system - or...- even a 100-round M249 Softpouch. However, it can be a bit tricky to remove this pouch since it tapers towards the top. Now, onto its side companion.The Side Pouch can best be described as a canteen pouch. Inside, there is a partition at the back, secured by a snap fastener, and a D-ring. The hem can be adjusted in width using a drawstring. So, overall, plenty of space.This space can be filled with the gear shown above interchangeably: a canteen (including a cup), a tarp, up to two magazines, or other useful items. The Side Pouch is closed with a classic buckle.The Side Pouch is also made of two materials, 500D Cordura and the jacket's fabric.

CONCLUSION: UF-PRO offers with these two pouches a very good storage extension for the Smock, which can also be attached to other MOLLE equipment. We particularly find the closure of the Front Pouch very innovative.
