REVIEW: UF PRO Striker pants in direct comparison (X / HT / XT Gen2)

02/11/2020By Redaktion
Sure! Just let me know the text you'd like me to translate.

With the new Striker X from UF PRO, you are faced with a tough choice. There are three models, but which one is the right one? UF PRO does not want to retire any version, as each has its own justification and area of use. We want to help you and show you what distinguishes each pair of pants from each other in a direct comparison. Here are the candidates at a glance. On the left in Steel Grey is the Striker XT Gen. 2. In the middle, the Striker HT in Stone Grey Olive. On the right, the Striker X in Multicam.

The first major difference between the models is the color or camouflage. The Striker XT Gen. 2 offers the widest range of choices. The Striker HT is the only one with the Multicam Black pattern, as well as the colors Desert Grey and Coyote Brown. The Striker X has the fewest options, with only Multicam and Stone Grey Olive available. Therefore, one should carefully consider which colors are wanted or needed. One of the most obvious differences is the knee area. The Striker X stands out with a larger, redesigned area. The Striker X is also the only one that does not have mesh fabric on the inside. Instead, the solid protectors in the Striker XT Gen. 2 and Striker HT are inserted from below into the respective pocket. For the Striker X, everything comes in through the same opening, so to speak. On the back, the Striker X stands out again. Not least because we mentioned the knee protector, you can immediately see the button (see the following detailed photo). As at the bottom, the inside is also reinforced with Cordura, protecting against abrasion. The Cordura area on the Striker X is much larger and wider than on the other two.

As some may already know, the button to tighten the pants around the knee is located there.

Another noticeable difference is at the bottom of the pants. The Striker HT has the width adjustment in the middle back, which is additionally secured with Velcro.
