The Delta ComPac Winter Jacket from UF PRO offers great warmth with its G-Loft filling and practical features like YKK zippers, high collar, and zippered pockets. It is compact, ensuring easy portability, and ideal for cold weather adventures.
The leaves are falling, it's getting cold, and it's only a matter of days until the temperatures drop further into winter. Time for warm jackets again. Luckily, there's the new Delta ComPac Winter Jacket from UF PRO. We took a detailed look at it.

The ComPac Jacket is designed to be a constant companion in your backpack, which you can quickly put on when it gets cooler. Thanks to a G-Loft filling of 110g/m², it keeps you warm up to around -10°C. That's more towards the lower end, but at the current temperatures around 2°C plus wind, it's perfect. Ultimately, it also depends on what you wear underneath and whether you need to layer a hardshell over it.

The fit is, as has been the case with UF PRO for some time now, described as Athletic. This means the jacket corresponds to the stated size but fits close to the body. If you prefer a looser fit, we recommend taking the ComPac one size up. The mobility is good, and the ComPac did not restrict us at all.

UF PRO places emphasis on quality, so only YKK zippers are used. The collar closes very high, as you can see in the picture. So you won't get cold ...

Inside, the fleece ensures that the collar feels cozy.

And at the upper edge towards the zipper, another fabric is used.

The outer material is wind- and water-repellent. The ComPac offers two zippered, insulated front pockets. You can warm your hands in them.

YKK is also used for the front pockets.

To prevent cold air from coming in from below, the wearer can tighten the ComPac at the hem. A classic feature.

Also now a classic feature in jackets is the upper arm velcro. The ComPac offers a 9.5 x 14 cm display area for patches on each arm. In the middle, there is a slot for a pen. Glow sticks fit very well here too.

The sleeve is finished with a flexible cuff that is not adjustable.

The ComPac is equipped with a non-removable and non-dustable, lined hood. That will keep your head nice and warm.

The hood of the ComPac fits tightly, so there is definitely no helmet fitting under it. It is also so thickly lined that a combat helmet doesn't fit over it, at least not very comfortably, and wearing hearing protection is also a bit of a challenge.

You can put everything on when the hood discreetly rests on your shoulders.

The ComPac is equipped with the UF PRO proprietary "Head Harness." This should ensure you always have a great view out of the hood. Or you can parade through the streets as the "King of Germany."

The "Head Harness" is simply velcroed in and works as advertised. The hood on the ComPac fits so well that the "Head Harness" is not necessarily needed.

Not much happens inside. Right side (from the wearer's perspective): nothing.

Left side: In addition to the product label, you'll find a large zippered inner pocket.

This is the product label inside the jacket.

You can pack or "compact" the ComPac jacket into the inner pocket. Hence the name of this lined jacket, in case anyone was wondering. The compressed ComPac measures approximately 30 x 15 x 5 cm or around 2.25 liters of pack volume.

When it gets cold, grab your backpack quickly, take out the compact jacket, and unpack it from itself, so to speak.

At first, this creates a solidly wrinkled look, but it quickly wears out in the material.
CONCLUSION: With the Delta ComPac, UF PRO has brought a solid, well-insulating winter jacket to the market. The fit could be a bit wider to our taste. Thanks to the G-Loft, the ComPac can be packed very small and stored in a backpack. And that's exactly how it should be, a compact jacket that keeps you warm and is quickly accessible when you're on the go.
The Delta ComPac is available directly at UF Pro for 189 EURO in Black or Stone Gray Olive from XS to XXXXL
