REVIEW: Toy Soldier Replica 6094A in AOR2

09/11/2013By Redaktion

Among the rarer plate carriers are those that are made in relatively unique patterns. This includes the gear of the Navy SEALs. While the LBT-6094A is quite common, you will rarely find it in AOR2 – the green camouflage pattern for the U.S. Navy special forces – and it is expensive. But in the image here you can see a nice replica, the Replica 6094A from Toy Soldier. We took a look at it for you.

Toy Soldier 6094A AOR2_2When worn, you can immediately see the classic 6094A cut: plate pockets front and back, all connected with a cummerbund. Lots of MOLLE and in the case of Toy Soldier, the replica is made of genuine 500D Cordura in AOR2. The MOLLE strips are also a perfect match. If you want to compare, take a look at the last image here in the article or check out the Photo File for the original carrier.

Toy Soldier 6094A AOR2_5The Replica 6094A already comes with shoulder padding. And just like the original, it also has velcro cable management tunnels.

For those who prefer to attach it separately to the plate carrier, they can also opt for the Lightweigth MBITR Radio Pouch in AOR1 from Toy Soldier, which adds more color variety to the gear.

The perfection in the replica is also evident in the fact that the carrier comes with the velcro strap that makes it usable without the cummerbund. A detail that most other manufacturers usually overlook.

CONCLUSION: The original London Bridge Trading in AOR2 is so rare that it sells for around $2,000. The replica from Toy Soldier as 6094A (Medium SAPIS) or 6094B (Large SAPIS) costs $350, which is what this plate carrier from LBT would normally cost. The material is authentic, the quality of workmanship as well as the dimensions of the carrier are accurate (J.K. Army - HERE in the review - is slightly longer than the original). Toy Soldier offers the best replica of the 6094A in AOR2 on the market and at a fair price.

You can get the Replica AOR2 6094A from Toy Soldier for $350. For the same price, you can also get the Replica 6094B in AOR2. If you need more, you can also opt for the 6094A Set with Pockets in AOR2, which costs $450. For $400, you can get the 6094A in AOR1 replica.
