REVIEW: TMC ANVIS NVG Dummy

03/20/2021By Redaktion

The ANVIS 9 was originally a night vision device that came from the US Air Force, but was also used by special units like the Deltas because it was lighter than comparable devices used by the Army. This is a non-functional ANVIS 9 Dummy from TMC, but it fits well in the display collection.

View from below. Two (empty) tubes and a bridge.

The diopter adjustment on the lenses is labeled.

Top view of the dummy device.

  • Dimensions (cm): 15 (L) x 13 (W) x 13 (H)
  • Weight (gr): 250

This is the mount for the ANVIS helmet. It is designed to be functional. HERE you can find the whole helmet set replica.

Front view of the entire bridge. At the top is the suspension for the ANVIS mount.

The side adjustment wheels for the tubes are functional, so you can adjust them to the correct eye distance.

The labels are designed as stickers.

The dummy also has dummy lenses. Looks good.

The body is made entirely of nylon.

On the helmet in the dark, this thing looks good.

CONCLUSION: Small ANVIS dummy at a good price. The nylon body makes it look a little cheap.

You can find the TMC ANVIS 9 at WEAPON762 for 29.90 euros.

Serving suggestion: As a dummy with a fully equipped helicopter helmet.
