Same text: REVIEW: TMC AN/PVS-15 Dummy

The AN/PVS-15 was long the Special Forces night vision device before it was replaced by the AN/PVS-31. The replica above is from TMC - but pimped with everything that has been good for improvement.

TMC is very basic in itself. The dimensions are roughly correct. Here the dummy is painted.

The original comes entirely in black. Here is the side view.

Here the other side - with a very basic sticker.

From the back, you can see that there are few details. Of course, you have a very blurred view. And at night it's dark.

Here better lenses are already glued in.

Here is the pimped dummy from the cover image. It's lightly dusted to simulate a "used look."

Even the lenses are upgraded - with FMA lenses.

The amber filters on the real night vision device are used to make the glow around the eyes invisible. Here they are a nice detail. HERE you can get the filters.

CONCLUSION: A very minimalist dummy that can be upgraded with some effort and additional parts to a very realistic piece.
