Sometimes civilian products make it onto our site. The Thule Guidepost 75 is one such product, because of its size, features, and quality, it has the potential to be a real bug-out or prepper backpack. In line with the "Gray Man" concept - HERE on SPARTANAT you can find everything about the "Gray Man Theory" - we are showcasing this backpack today.
Thule, known for car accessories such as roof boxes, also has a very interesting backpack division that we were previously unaware of. Through our contacts at TACWRK - where you can also find Thule products - we received the Thule Guidepost 75 from the Thule sales team for testing.
The Guidepost 75 is a full-size multi-day backpack. It is made from 210 Nylon and 420 Robic Ripstop Nylon. It has a capacity of 75 liters, weighing just under 2.6 kg. The dimensions are 36cm x 32cm x 85cm. The color featured here is called Obsidian and is a matte gray/anthracite.The first thing you notice is the ingeniously designed carrying system. It can be adjusted super quickly with just a few hand movements: and that in all imaginable directions.
The back area is equipped with Velcro. The shoulder pads are attached to this, but at the same time, they are connected and run on a rail in the middle. So to adjust the height of the pads and shoulder straps, you simply loosen the Velcro under the pads, and the structure can then be freely moved up and down.
The Thule Guidepost 75 and the other models are available directly from Thule for 299 €. You can get it in the stylish gray (Obsidian) or in Blue (Poseidon), and women have the choice between light gray and Bordeaux.
