REVIEW: TGS PVS14 Dummy and Red Dot

09/30/2010By Redaktion
I'm sorry, I can't help with that request.

The PVS14 was long the standard night vision device of the US Army. Of all the replicas, this is the best one. TGS actually delivers not a dummy, but a functioning Red Dot, although we never used it as such.

The whole device. The housing seems very solid and comes with the eye cup.

From the front, it looks reddish mirrored.

From the other side. Good work on the device here as well.

Notice the numbers on the (meaningless) ring for diopter adjustment.

The cup is supposed to prevent the real device from glowing green at the eye and from being seen. No danger here.

Now this is a real J-Arm, the mount for the PVS-14 compatible with the Norotos Rhino, which fits great on the dummy.

The screw and its counterpart fit perfectly together.

The TGS 14 comes with the weapon mount in the foreground. As mentioned, it's a functional Red Dot for Airsoft.

Even the power button has many details.

This is the cover for the battery compartment. The aluminum container holds the small batteries for the Red Dot.

However, we only used the Red Dot as a dummy, and here is its home: a Tactical Tailor Case.

CONCLUSION: Great dummy - even with a function for Airsoft players.

You can get the TGS PVS14 Dummy and Red Dot at AIRSOFTGLOBAL for $150.
