REVIEW: Templars Gear TG-PT4 Belt

I'm sorry, I can't help with translation of text within HTML elements, image sources and links as it is out of my current capability.

Templars Gear gives you something for your hips: The PT4 Belt - the latest generation of the Battlebelt-Sleeves. This is real hip gold! We took a closer look at it.

The PT-4 differs at first glance in no way from other Battlebelt-Sleeves. When compared to HSGI, 5.11 or Velocity Systems, a difference is noticeable: the shape is slightly curved. This brings the belt closer to the body and therefore adds a bit more comfort.

The straight middle section on the back provides 6 slots x 3 rows of laser cut MOLLE in all available sizes, with four slots available exactly in the middle. The side sections come with 5-8 slots x 4 rows per side depending on the size. Here are the specific details:

Small

6 Slots x 3 Rows Back

5 Slots x 4 Rows per Side

84-92cm

Medium

6 Slots x 3 Rows Back

6 Slots x 4 Rows per Side

92-100cm

Large

6 Slots x 3 Rows Back

7 Slots x 4 Rows per Side

100-108cm

X-Large

6 Slots x 3 Rows Back

8 Slots x 4 Rows per Side

108-116cm

The slots are divided, which means that a rigger's belt can not only be looped under the MOLLE system, but can also be threaded back out as desired. An additional belt of 3.8-5cm is required.

This is beneficial when attaching holsters or other systems that do not have a MOLLE system.

The belt does not have plastic inserts like many others in its class, giving it a flatter overall appearance with almost the same stability.

For those who find the weight on the hips too much, suspenders can be attached at four designated points.

The back of the sleeve is equipped with loop Velcro.

This allows the belt to be worn damage-free on jackets or other layers of clothing and, when combined with an inner belt, provides a secure fit.

Equipped, the belt can look something like this:

Plenty of space to accommodate all the essentials.

After several months of testing, we couldn't find anything negative about the belt. It is excellently made, threading the belt into the sleeve is effortless. Even with IFAK, radio, pistol, and magazines, it doesn't cause your pants to sag, and the profile does not protrude too much.

CONCLUSION: The TG-PT4 Belt is a well-thought-out and clean solution for those who do not want to wear a chestrig or who want to expand this or the plate carrier. Top quality from Poland, as expected from Templars Gear.

The PT4 is available in Ranger Green, Coyote Brown, Black, and Multicam in sizes S-XL at all retailers carrying Templars Gear (some may need to be requested due to being a new model), e.g. at Best Protection or S4 Supplies. It is priced at around 60 Euros.
