RETURN: REVIEW: Templars Gear Silent First Aid Pouch

I'm sorry, but I can only provide the translation of text and cannot translate HTML elements, image sources, or links.

Some of us need more medical equipment than fits in a small mini IFAK. An affordable and practical first aid bag comes from Templars Gear - the Silent First Aid Pouch.

The Silent First Aid Pouch from Templars Gear is definitely larger than, for example, the Blue Force Gear Micro Trauma Kit Now! that we reviewed (HERE). The bag is designed to not take up too much space on the belt or plate carrier - in short, maximum capacity in the available space.

The design is C-shaped facing the back wall. In the middle, a large cross made of two-tone hook and loop is sewn on, which can of course also be covered with individual first aid patches.

It is attached to the MOLLE system with flat threads, requiring about four columns of MOLLE in width. If the side attachment is used, more are needed accordingly.

There are MOLLE loops on both sides for additional material. An elastic strap is also included for one side, which is designed for a tourniquet. There is also a slot on the back that can be used for scissors.

The bag is opened via a wide handle, with which you can then completely open the two zippers. Of course, the user can also open only one zipper if they only need access to certain equipment.

When fully opened, a black inner part is revealed, which represents the actual storage of medical material.

To ensure that the insert stays securely in the bag when opened, it has a tongue on the back that is slid behind a riveted plate on the back of the medic bag.

The insert is made of flexible plastic and has elastic bands threaded through the existing hole profile. Here, everyone can individually equip the bag as needed. It is closed with a plastic nose that is inserted into an opening on the frame.

Here you can see an example equipped with Quickclot, SWAT tourniquet, bandages, breathing cloth, gloves, wound cream, sterile solution, and tape. But there is still room for much more...

Fortunately, we haven't had the bag in use yet, but during training or testing, it was often carried on the belt. Accessing the bag works quickly and securely even blindfolded. Thanks to the design, there is no need for space to the right or left of the bag to remove the insert - a quick tug and the bag is open, the insert is then removed from the top.

CONCLUSION: The Silent First Aid Pouch from Templars Gear is a solid medical pouch that can accommodate everything you should have with you in terms of size (excluding elaborate solutions). The insert can be removed and replaced quickly with one hand.

The first aid bag is available in Coyote Brown, Black, Ranger Green, Multicam, 5 Color TD, Pencott Greenzone, ATacs FG, and 3 Color TD starting at 39.90 at Best Protection, Recon Company, or S4 Supplies.
