REVIEW: Strike Industries iPhone4 Battle Case

11/30/2011By Redaktion

Protection? And help? Yes, you can always use them. Especially vulnerable things like the iPhone 4 need both, and that's why there is a whole industry that provides what the phone wears. From the gear segment, Magpul has already taken care of the 4-apple. Now there is a new case from Strike Industries and SPARTANAT has taken a look at it.

The phone is already dressed: the case doesn't differ much from the Magpul case. The edge even sits better and tighter. What stands out is the loop, which proves to be very practical when pulling the phone out of the pocket or attaching it to gear.

The back shows appealing honeycomb structures as texture. Nice. There is a version where you can insert a sheet of Kevlar into the back. It's not entirely clear what that does better, as the manufacturer is quick to assure: the phone is not bulletproof because of it.

The loop also allows access to the data/charging cable. The camera and headphones are also exposed.

CONCLUSION: A very nice case for the iPhone4. The loop doesn't make it prettier, but is very practical. With the finger hook, the phone can be quickly pulled out of the pocket.

The Strike Industries iPhone4 Cover costs $11.95 and is available directly from Strike or through various AS retailers.
