Batteries have the strange tendency to stay organized only until they are removed from the package. Afterwards, individual batteries disappear into the depths of backpacks or other bags. Storacell was developed for organization and to address this problem. Find out what this organizing system can do with us (click on images to enlarge).
Storacell is a molded plastic matrix in which various types of batteries can be neatly stored. The containers come in various sizes and battery type combinations. We tested the following types: AAA 6-Pack, AA 4-Pack, 9V 4-Pack, CR123 4-Pack, and the A9 Pack. Except for the A9 Pack, each container only holds one type of battery, as indicated by the name. The A9 Pack is a combination for 4 AAA, 8 AA, and 1 9V battery.
The batteries are simply inserted into the designated opening and are held in place by an elastic clip to prevent them from slipping out. To use the batteries, one simply needs to slide them out. The batteries can be stored with the nub (positive pole) facing downwards, for which an additional recess has been molded, or upwards.
If it happens to be dark during a battery change, that's no problem either, as all containers are also made in a "Glow in the dark" version. We are all familiar with the "eerie" glow from various Lego or Playmobil ghosts. In addition to this version, the colors Black, Olive, and Orange are also available.
CONCLUSION: A good solution for a ubiquitous problem. The batteries remain neatly organized in the bag and there is no need to search for them in case of emergency.
Available at SIERRA 313 in various versions in the colors Olive, Black Signal Orange, and Glow in the dark from €4.95 to €13.95 excluding shipping costs
