Same text: REVIEW: SniperTools BFP Bipod

Looking to improve your accuracy and precision in shooting? Check out the review of the SniperTools Bipod BFP Pod from Blackforest Precision by Major Finding.

In order to achieve accurate hits at greater distances, a shooter needs not only a lot of practice, skill, and experience - they also need the right equipment, as our friends at MAJOR FINDING point out.
On the other hand, hitting a target at 300m to 500m with pretty much any modern rifle is not too difficult. With a little practice, even beginners can achieve that relatively quickly.

However, if you want to participate in competitions where the goal is to shoot the smallest possible group, it becomes more challenging. In such cases, simply placing the rifle on the nearest surface is no longer sufficient; you need something solid to hold the rifle stable while focusing on the shot.

For shooting ranges where the shooter can usually rest the rifle on a table or for shooting from a prone position, bipods are very suitable. In addition to the various materials, mounting methods, and positions where it can be attached to the rifle, there are also various manufacturers.

For this article, we took a closer look at the "SniperTools Bipod BFP Pod" from Blackforest Precision (as the abbreviation in the name may already suggest).

This is a high-quality bipod with many features - made of milled aluminum. The surface is hard-anodized in FDE color.

Despite its bulky appearance and size, it weighs only 700 grams. The long version, which we have been testing for some time now, can be adjusted in 13 stages, between a height of 208mm to 309mm. Both legs can also be locked at a 45° angle (forward and backward).

Due to the deep grooving in the mount, the leg locking is rock solid, and the length adjustment works effortlessly. However, the most interesting feature is probably the Picatinny adapter - it can be quickly switched from 6 o'clock to 12 o'clock. All you need to do is loosen a screw and screw it back into another position. It can hardly get any easier than that.

As test platforms, a Ritter & Stark SLX and a Haenel RS9 were used. Even after the bipod has been through hundreds of shots, everything still works flawlessly, and neither the weight nor the recoil of the rifles could affect it.

The previous MAJOR FINDING Conclusion: If you are looking for an excellent bipod, you will definitely be satisfied with the SniperTools bipod.

The SniperTools Bipod BFP Pod in FDE is available at BLACKFOREST PRECISION starting at 392 euros.
